Our Goals and Purpose

Organizational Goal

Improved livelihoods of coffee and cocoa farming communities and others along the value chain remain its goal. The indicators of success for the organizational goal are improved health and housing conditions, number of children going to school, reduced number of malnourished children less than five years of age, increased income per capita, increased employment in the coffee and cocoa sub-sectors, and increased spin-off economic activities. 

Organizational Purpose

Increased productivity, production and market access for coffee and cocoa farmers and other actors along the value chains constitute the purpose of NWCA Ltd. The indicators of success for the organizational purpose are: factor productivity on the farm and along the value chain comparable to international levels, increased volumes of coffee and cocoa delivered to the markets, increased domestic and export market demand for NWCA coffee and cocoa, and reduced proportion of discounted price products.
