NWCA Ltd Holds Annual General Meeting for Presentation of 2018 Accounts
On the 10th of May 2019, farmers from all over the 43 Cooperative Produce Marketing Societies and 13 Secondary Cooperative Unions affiliated to the North West Cooperative Association (NWCA) Ltd gathered at the association’s headquarters at Mile 3 Nkwen, Bamenda, Cameroon. For their annual meeting for the Presentation of 2018 Accounts.
Despite the insecure environment due to the on-going socio-political instability, the resilient NWCA family braved the odds and at 9 a.m. the meeting kicked off at NWCA’s Conference Hall.
The meeting was spiced up with various activities such as the reading of the last meeting’s minutes, a report from the Supervisory Committee, as well as the General Managers’ Report. The main item on the agenda, being the Presentation of 2018 accounts followed, with reports from the Marketing Officer on the ongoing 2019 Coffee Season. One of the pertinent information received by farmers was that their association is moving in the right direction. NWCA Ltd remains the highest exporters of Arabica coffee in Cameroon even with the socio-political crises affecting the two English speaking regions of the country.
